SCG Partners with Central Region FTI to Launch Go Together Project, Showcasing Carbon Reduction Processes and Inviting SMEs to Enhance Competitiveness and Transition to a Low-Carbon Society SCG, in collaboration with the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) Central Region, opened its Ban Pong factory in Ratchaburi province, part of SCGP, a comprehensive sustainable packaging solutions provider in ASEAN, to over 80 SME entrepreneurs from Ratchaburi, Samut Sakhon, Phetchaburi, and Nakhon Pathom provinces. The “Go Together Growing Together for a Sustainable World” project allows participants to learn from real experiences while exchanging ideas and receiving close consultation from experts to enhance competitiveness and transition to a low-carbon society. The event was honored by the presence of Mr. Apisit Techanithisawat, Chairman of the Central Region FTI, along with Mr. Chana Poomee Chief Sustainability Officer at SCG, Mr. Sanit Kessuwan, Go Together Project Director, Mr. Pakawat Paseephol, Banpong Mill Director of Siam Kraft Industry Company Limited in SCGP, and Mr. Sunthorn Yongvibulsiri, ESG and Sustainability Director, SCGP, along with executive management welcoming visitors at SCGP Ban Pong Factory, Ratchaburi Province. Mr. Chana Poomee said, “SCG operates under the Inclusive Green Growth approach, aimed at elevating SME entrepreneurs to transition to a low-carbon society by appropriately utilizing knowledge and technology, learning from SCG’s examples, and implementing them directly. Opening our facilities nationwide to SMEs demonstrates which projects are beneficial for carbon reduction while also reducing costs, thus minimizing investment risks for SMEs.” Mr. Sunthorn Yongvibulsiri stated, “SCGP focuses on transitioning to a low-carbon society and sustainable energy management through three main strategies: 1) Using alternative fuels to replace fossil fuels, such as Biomass and production waste materials, 2) Utilizing technology and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to improve production efficiency, resulting in reduced energy consumption, and 3) Using raw materials from commercial forests, which act as carbon sinks and can offset greenhouse gas emissions.” During this visit, entrepreneurs studied actual operations and learned about SCGP’s environmentally friendly management approaches, such as efficient resource utilization, circular economy application, and the use of technology and AI in industry to enhance business operations. The Go Together project aims to allow entrepreneurs from all regions nationwide to study environmentally friendly management processes, exchange experiences, and build strong alliances leading to sustainable development of Thai industry. The project is supported by the Federation of Thai Industries and receives cooperation from the Thai Bankers’ Association in promoting Green Finance funding to support overall economic growth and create sustainable growth together.

SCG Announces New Debenture Offering with “A” Rating for Public Investors, Featuring 4-Year Term and 3.20% Fixed Interest Rate, Available for Subscription Starting March 3, 2025 through 5 Leading Banks The Siam Cement Public Company Limited (SCG) is preparing to offer its first series of debentures for 2025 (SCC294A), maturing in 2029, to general investors. The debentures carry a 4-year term with a fixed interest rate of 3.20% per annum, paying interest quarterly. The offering maintains an A(tha) credit rating from Fitch Ratings Thailand, reflecting SCG’s stable and robust financial position and commitment to sustainable growth. Subscriptions will open on March 3, 2025, through five major banks. Mrs. Chantanida Sarigaphuti, Vice President-Finance and Investment & CFO, SCG, stated, “This debenture offering aims to refinance maturing debentures while continuing to strengthen our business operations. In 2024, SCG maintained a strong financial position with an EBITDA of 53,946 million baht, comparable to 2023. This stability resulted from various business enhancement measures, including working capital management, operational restructuring, discontinuation of unprofitable operations, efficiency improvements, and focused CAPEX control on high-return, quick-yield projects. These efforts led to a reduction in net debt by 16,777 million baht from Q3, with a net debt-to-equity ratio of 0.7 and year-end cash reserves of 53,331 million baht. Looking ahead to 2025, we see growth opportunities from regional economic recovery and continued adaptation across all business groups – Cement and Building Materials, Chemicals, and Packaging – through high-value innovation initiatives and expansion into promising new markets. We anticipate strong investor interest in this debenture offering, as with our previous issues.” The Securities and Exchange Commission has approved SCG’s filing for this new series of named, unsubordinated, unsecured debentures with a debenture holders’ representative. The offering is valued at up to 15,000 million baht with a 4-year term. Fitch Ratings Thailand assigned an A(tha) rating on January 20, 2025, reflecting SCG’s strong financial position and effective management capabilities. The subscription period for the new “SCC294A” debentures is scheduled as follows: 1) March 3-7, 2025: For holders of maturing “SCC254A” debentures (due April 1, 2025) 2) March 25-27, 2025: For current debenture holders of SCG, SCG Packaging, and SCG Chemicals 3) March 28-31, 2025: For general investors Subscriptions will be available through Krungthai Bank, Bangkok Bank, Bank of Ayudhya, Kasikornbank, and Siam Commercial Bank. SCG Invites Industry Entrepreneurs to Join FTI Expo 2025, Connecting Collaboration for Sustainable Future of Thai Industry Dr. Chana Poomee, Chief Sustainability Officer at SCG, revealed that SCG aims to create a low-carbon society through green innovation development and collaboration with all sectors, following the Inclusive Green Growth approach or “Growing Green, Growing Together.” SCG will showcase its achievements and share knowledge at FTI Expo 2025, organized by the Federation of Thai Industries under the concept “Empowering Thai Industry, Elevating Thailand’s Future” at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center during February 12-15. “At FTI Expo 2025, SCG will present its work following the Inclusive Green Growth approach, including progress in innovation, technology, and green solutions focusing on CO2 emission reduction processes. These include low-carbon cement, 3D Printing, biochar-mixed concrete that helps transform carbon in Biomass to be stable and stored in concrete, transformation to Digital factories using Smart Manufacturing Solution and Asset Performance Management Solution, as well as technologies that enhance competitiveness and make industries greener. Furthermore, SCG will present collaborations between industrial entrepreneurs and various sectors to support SMEs in transitioning to a low-carbon society. These include the Go Together project, which offers learning from SCG’s actual knowledge and experience in factories nationwide, and the NZAP – Net Zero Accelerator Program, focusing on enhancing competitiveness to cope with global warming. “SCG hopes that industrial entrepreneurs and various sectors participating in FTI Expo 2025 will exchange knowledge and collaborate to make Thai industry stronger and more sustainable, ready to face all challenges towards a sustainable future,” Dr. Chana said.

SCG Confident in Strong EBITDA Management, Approves Dividend Payout Near 100% of Profits, Continues Shareholder Care, Reaffirms Corporate Strength, Seizes Regional Economic Recovery Opportunities SCG announced its 2024 operating results, reporting an EBITDA of 53,946 MB driven by stringent cost management, accelerated delivery of High-Value Added Products & Services, and continuous reduction of working capital, investment in projects that offer high and quick returns, while debt has decreased compared to the previous quarter. SCG reaffirms its commitment to shareholder care. A dividend of 5.00 Baht per share, equivalent to 95% of net profit, has been approved. Confident in its strong financial health, SCG is well-positioned to seize opportunities from the region’s economic recovery in 2025. Thammasak Sethaudom, President and CEO of SCG, said that in 2024, SCG effectively managed EBITDA, achieving 53,946 MB, which is at the same level as 2023. This was driven by SCG’s adaptation to challenges, including the slowdown in the petrochemical cycle, geopolitical tensions, volatile energy costs, and high interest rates. In Thailand, the delayed disbursement of the government budget from the previous year, persistently high household debt, and intensifying competition from Chinese products added further pressure. Despite these challenges, SCG maintained its financial strength and ensured continuous returns for all shareholders. As a result, board of directors has resolved to propose to the shareholders’ meeting an annual dividend payment of 5.00 Baht per share, totaling 6,000 MB, representing 95% of net profit. SCG remains committed to strengthening its financial health by maintaining strong EBITDA, which is a core principle of business management. The company has been implementing reinforcement measures announced at the end of Q3/2024, with significant outcomes as follows: 1) Working capital management has resulted in a reduction of approximately 6,200 MB from the previous year, 2) Restructuring operations and business activities, including discontinuing unprofitable businesses in 2024 to enhance operational efficiency, 3) Controlled capital expenditures, prioritizing only projects with high and quick returns. As a result, net debt has decreased by 16,777 MB from the previous quarter, with a net debt-to-equity ratio of 0.7 times. SCG’s financial position remains strong and stable, with year-end cash reserves of 53,331 MB. SCG is well-positioned to seize opportunities from the region’s economic recovery. In Thailand, government budget disbursement is expected to continue steadily, while in ASEAN, particularly Indonesia and Vietnam, GDP growth is projected to outpace the global average. This growth is supported by strong domestic purchasing power, government economic stimulus policies, and increased foreign investment, which are positive factors for Businesses related to Construction Materials.
