My stay at the Sanya Marriott Hotel Dadonghai Bay When I was heading to the airport from Haitang Bay, I decided to stay one night at the Sanya Marriott Hotel Dadonghai Bay. I was torn between the Autograph Collection and the JW Marriott, but I chose the latter because it has a lounge and is in a lively area. There are many Russian tourists here. 1. Hotel service I didn't do any research before my stay, but when I received a call from the hotel, they mentioned a room upgrade, and I was lucky enough to get the last suite of the day (I had originally booked a basic room). The staff member on the phone was sincere and enthusiastic, which made me feel very warm. The lobby was crowded and stuffy when I checked in, and no one helped me with my luggage when I got out of the car. In the evening, the fruit was not delivered in time, but after contacting the hotel, they sent me a delicious coconut. The lounge staff took the initiative to ask about my stay and gave me a cute little griffin doll. 2. Hotel room I booked a basic room and was upgraded to a Mountain and Sea Pavilion Ocean View Suite. The room was a large corner suite with a circle of floor-to-ceiling windows and a balcony, offering a very open view and stunning scenery. The room I stayed in may have been in the east wing, so although there was some obstruction, the sea view was still good. The room was decorated in a business style, which looked a little worse during the day, but the atmosphere was great at night. The bathtub was spacious, but there was only one bathroom and the drainage was problematic. 3. Hotel entertainment and fitness The gym and pool were average, and there was no beach at the hotel. The pool was full of Russian tourists, who were in great shape. I didn't go swimming because I have social anxiety. 4. Hotel dining The food in the lounge was average, but edible. I didn't get to try the breakfast, but I saw a wide variety of dishes when they were being cleared away. The hotel has a lawn barbecue in the evening, and the resident singer's performance was very pleasant. 5. Overall review The Sanya Marriott Hotel Dadonghai Bay doesn't have a strong vacation atmosphere, but it has complete facilities, a great location, is close to various attractions, and is convenient for travel. The concierge service could be improved. It is suitable for young people who like lively places or tourists traveling with elders, and the suites are also suitable for parties.
