NEW DELHI: With BJP racing ahead in Haryana, AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday said the "biggest lesson" of the poll results is that one should never be "overconfident" in the elections.

Speaking to AAP municipal councillors in Delhi, Kejriwal said, "Let us see what the results are in Haryana. The biggest lesson of this is that one should never be overconfident in the elections."
The AAP fought elections independently in Haryana after failing to form an alliance with the Congress, which did not agree to give AAP nine seats.As a result, AAP contested 89 out of 90 seats but trailed behind BJP and Congress candidates.
During the campaign, Kejriwal claimed that no government would form in Haryana without AAP's support. He urged councillors to work diligently for the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections in February next year.
"You will have the most important role in this (Delhi) election. We will win the elections just if you ensure there is proper garbage collection and disposal from your areas which is a very basic thing," said Kejriwal.
