Suriya wrapped up shooting for his next film, ‘Suriya 44,’ directed by Karthik Subbaraj, yesterday (October 6). The actor shared some glimpses from the wrap-up party, along with a precious picture featuring actor Joju George and filmmaker Karthik Subbaraj.

On October 6, Suriya posted a series of pictures with the cast and crew of the movie, captioning it, “It’s a wrap!! #Suriya44.” Simultaneously, he expressed his gratitude towards director Karthik Subbaraj on his Twitter account, stating, “A wholesome, happy shoot got done across several locations… Lots of memories with the super talented cast & crew… I made a brother for life, @karthiksubbaraj.Thank you & our team for making #Suriya44 a memorable experience. #ShootWrap.” While calling Karthik his new brother, he shared a monochrome video of them hugging, which won the internet with its charm.

Meanwhile, he shared a monochrome picture with actor Joju George and Karthik Subbaraj, in which the trio were seen hugging each other with wide smiles and happiness.

‘Suriya 44’ was announced in March 2024, and the first look of the actor featured him in a retro theme, stirring excitement about the movie. The previously released promo videos showcased a raw villain look of Suriya, and fans are eagerly awaiting this collaboration. The film also stars Pooja Hegde in the lead role, with Santhosh Narayanan serving as the music director.

Suriya is currently gearing up for the release of ‘Kanguva,’ alongside Bobby Deol and Disha Patani. It will hit theaters on November 14.
