What a Wednesday it was… The day started with an intensive meeting for our next week’s ISUZU Tech Day to be organized by Fark Labs and Farplas as well as our portfolio companies, AMPHERR AG, Buyutech, Comodif, Euronova Next-generation Sustainable Plastic Materials, MaestroHub, MOBIQU and Saykal Electronics. Then, at Fark Labs, we hosted KOSGEB’s Jury for Entrepreneur Support Program Business Development Supports. It was great to meet several entrepreneurs from different sectors targeting to develop their business and aim to export as well. I would like to thank to my team for hosting that day at Fark Labs site and I would like to thank Mr. Selim Serkan Ercan, Mr. Asım Türkmen and Prof. Dr. Selim Aren being with us. But the day continues, so the next round is to be at Deniz Akvaryum by NEOHUB. Mr. Oğuzhan Çelebi and Ms. Melike Mumcuoğlu for hosting us ( me & Ms. Günseli Ö. ) and on behalf of Mr. Eren Hursit, I was presenting Fark Labs US and what to do for startups there to the community. On the stage, I had the chance to present one of our startups, also a true friend and fellow colleague, Mr. Selcuk Kochan from MOBIQU with me. It was inspiring to be able to talk what Fark Labs and MobiQu achieved together with the support of our Michigan Office within US Market. For more, obviously, you need to contact with Mr. Eren Hursit directly 😊 The last but not least, while snow storm started, I moved to Taksim Area. Since more than 20 years, it was great to feel snow on Istiklal Street, like the days of me at university. For us, to go out from school at İTÜ Makina Fakültesi and feel the beauty of weather on #Taksim area, was something I still miss, and that day helped me to remember those timing. Then, it was a great night as expected to meet the community for Pera Meet-Up Event at British Consulate General Istanbul. Meeting new faces from the ecosystem and talking in detail about what we can do more together with the team are always the best part of being in this community as Fark Labs. I need to thank for the kind hospitability of Mr. Kenan Poleo. Chatting with Mr. Consul is always inspiring and fruitful. However, when it comes to taking a picture together, I can’t stop laughing to his jokes each time on photo timing as usual. So, the night ends quite late of course and on the way back, I had to follow a gritter on the Bosporus Bridge. for a while...

EIT Community Hub Türkiye’nin Açılışı ve Geleceği Türkiye’nin inovasyon ekosistemini güçlendirmek ve yerel girişimcilerimizi Avrupa’nın en büyük inovasyon ağıyla buluşturmak amacıyla Avrupa İnovasyon ve Teknoloji Enstitüsü (EIT) tarafından başlatılan EIT Community Hub Türkiye, önemli bir adım olarak hayata geçti. Bu merkez; Fark Labs, TÜBİTAK ve Sabancı Üniversitesi iş birliğiyle kurularak ODTÜ KKM'de 12 Şubat 2025 tarihinde gerçekleştirilen açılış etkinliğiyle faaliyete girdi. EIT Topluluğu, Avrupa'nın inovasyon kapasitesini artırmak amacıyla teknoloji merkezleri aracılığıyla bölgesel inovasyon ekosistemlerini destekliyor. EIT Community Hub Türkiye; eğitim, iş geliştirme ve inovasyon alanlarında Türkiye’nin güçlü yönlerini ön plana çıkararak Avrupa’daki fırsatlara erişim sağlayacak. Turkish shared micromobility operator Tripy Mobility has secured fresh investment to support its expansion across Europe. The investment sum, which cannot be shared, came from Turkish impact fund Fark Labs and aims to scale Tripy’s smart transportation solutions and infrastructure projects in the next year. Currently serving three Turkish cities with a total population of 7.5 million people, Tripy aims to expand its reach to 30 million by the end of the year. https://lnkd.in/egx-a_nV
