Evergreen Marine participated in the 3rd General Assembly of RLCF Alliance On December 6, the Evergreen Marine Corporation (EMC) delegation participated in the 3rd General Assembly of the EU Renewable and Low-Carbon Fuels Value Chain Industrial Alliance (RLCF Alliance), held at the European Union's Charlemagne Building in Brussels.   This marked EMC's second attendance at the RLCF Alliance General Assembly since its inception in 2022. The delegation expressed deep appreciation for the RLCF Alliance's role as an effective platform, enabling members and stakeholders to understand better the European Commission's policy incentives and regulations supported by the EU Member States. Kudos to everyone involved! Additionally, we actively contributed to the preparatory work for the General Assembly, the Roundtables, and the Alliance's working groups. We also engaged with the RLCF Community Platform, which facilitates connections among members and supports collaboration in finding the right partners for joint projects. Thanks to Michal Kubicki and Zlatko Kregar from DG MOVE for their invaluable contributions!   During the General Assembly, EMC reaffirmed its commitment to collaborating with off-taking partners on EU standards, low-carbon fuel production, and supply projects, underscoring our dedication to advancing sustainable solutions.

Evergreen Marine was recognized by EcoVadis Bronze Medal Evergreen Marine has been awarded the Bronze Medal in the 2024 Corporate Sustainability Rating by EcoVadis, a leading global platform for assessing corporate sustainability. This recognition underscores the company's commitment to sustainable development and its focus on enhancing transparency across its value chain.   EcoVadis, one of the largest sustainability rating agencies worldwide, evaluates over 130,000 companies across 180 countries. Its assessments are based on international sustainability standards such as the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), and ISO 26000. The evaluation covers four key pillars: Environment, Labor and Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement, offering a comprehensive analysis of corporate performance to promote sustainable supply chain practices. Evergreen Line remains dedicated to continuous improvement and aims to collaborate with stakeholders to advance green marine transportation as part of its ongoing plans.

Evergreen Marine and PSA Singapore Establish Joint Venture for Container Terminal Operations in Singapore Evergreen Marine Corporation (EMC) and PSA Singapore (PSA) have established a joint venture in Singapore, aiming to enhance operational excellence and achieve greater synergies in container operations.   The joint venture terminal is expected to commence operations by the end of 2024. This strategic partnership will offer long-term terminal capacity assurance to EMC's fast expanding global vessel fleet in PSA Singapore.   Mr. Y.I. Chang, Chairman of EMC, said, "Environmentally friendly ships and efficient terminals are at the core of our operations. As the company's business expands, we are always looking for like-minded partners to build high-efficiency terminals in important locations. With the culmination of everyone's hard work comes the launch of Evergreen Marine's first joint venture terminal with PSA. This achievement not only strengthens our operations in Asia but also marks the beginning of a deeper global partnership between us."

Colon, Panama – August 19, 2024 – Evergreen's Colon Container Terminal (CCT) has taken a significant step towards the sustainability and modernization of its operations with the addition of 12 new hybrid RTG (Rubber Tyred Gantry) equipment, not only optimizes the efficiency and competitiveness of the port, but also reaffirms CCT's commitment to the fundamental pillars of sustainability: economic, environmental and social impact in the province of Colon.
