About us
It all began with a desire to address the challenges faced by startup founders in Tanzania, especially the issue of ignorance, exclusion, and low turnout of innovators in the country. Founders Tanzania is a platform that brings together startup founders from Tanzania, providing them with access to opportunities and events that they would otherwise not be aware of by cultivating a culture of opportunity sharing. The platform has grown from 18 startup founders to 300+ by April 2024, and over 2,000+ opportunities have been shared among members since February 2021. The platform has also given visibility to its members, with founders being profiled in various media outlets such as Founders Pulse, Founders Safari, CGTN, The Citizen, Channel Ten, Mwananchi, The Chanzo, and more.

Yesterday on August 8th, we hosted an insightful training session with Grayson Julius from iPF Softwares & iPF Academy, and it was an incredible success! The session, which ran for 1 hour and 30 minutes, was our longest yet and deeply engaged the 27+ founders who attended. Grayson provided a thorough exploration of common technical debts that startups face and shared strategies on how to manage and pay off these debts affordably. The session was not only informative but also highly interactive—founders had the opportunity to share examples of technical debts they’ve encountered in their own startups and received real-time feedback from Grayson. 🎥 Watch the Full Recording Here: https://lnkd.in/dhGykyHR Join Founders Tanzania Community for Opportunities, Training, Discussions and More for Free here: https://founders.tz/
