Thank you to UK Friends of Ukraine for funding the rehabilitation of a wounded Hero. Thanks to the Kharkiv Fundraising Lunch, which took place in May 2024 in London, our Foundation received £2,500 from UK Friends of Ukraine. The funds, amounting to 144,287.40 UAH (GBP 2,722.44), were directed towards the rehabilitation of Volodymyr Strekhozov at the Ukrainian Scientific and Clinical Center for Prosthetics and Rehabilitation. Volodymyr sustained a severe injury to his upper left limb on October 23, 2022, in the Bakhmut direction. With the support of UK Friends of Ukraine, Volodymyr underwent a 103-day rehabilitation course. This included consultations with doctors, occupational therapy sessions, therapeutic massage, exercises on specialized equipment, and other procedures. The soldier's physical condition has significantly improved: the mobility of his limb has increased, and the pain syndrome has decreased. We express our sincere gratitude to UK Friends of Ukraine for their generous contribution to the rehabilitation of wounded defenders. ————————— Support the rehabilitation of the wounded: ✅ Mono Bank https://lnkd.in/ewy35Ycj ✅ PrivatBank pb.ua/short?2ZMHT ✅ IBAN UA173515330000026009045908347 ✅ ctzn24.com/donate

How Does the Citizen Charity Foundation Operate? In these challenging times for our country, as war brings numerous losses, we unite our efforts to assist our heroic military. Our Foundation aids severely wounded defenders, and thanks to the support of compassionate individuals and organizations, we can provide essential assistance. Here's a look at how we operate: 1️⃣ DONATIONS FROM INDIVIDUALS The largest part of our budget comes from donations from individuals. These are the caring Ukrainians who support our heroes with their contributions. Every hryvnia counts, and it is through these donations that we can continue our vital mission. 2️⃣ SUPPORT FROM PARTNER FUNDS We actively collaborate with domestic and international partner funds that provide us with substantial financial support. These organizations share our values and strive to help those affected by the war. They enable us to pay for modern prosthetics and fund long-term rehabilitation. 3️⃣ SUPPORT FROM UKRAINIAN BUSINESSES Domestic businesses also play a crucial role in our activities. Ukrainian companies provide us with financial assistance, organize charity events, and support us in various other ways. Through collective efforts, we can do more for our defenders. 4️⃣ GRANTS In addition to donations and partner support, we also actively attract grant funds. These are special financial programs that allow us to implement large projects and expand our activities. Grants help us provide our military with the best prosthetics and comprehensive rehabilitation support. Each of these components is an integral part of our Foundation. We are grateful to everyone who supports us and helps us fulfill our mission. ❗️Together, we can do more for those who protect our Homeland! #SupportOurHeroes #CharityFoundation #TogetherWeAreStronger

🙌 Cyborg Rehabilitation is Accelerating! 🙌 Today, we have added swimming pool sessions to the comprehensive rehabilitation of our wounded soldiers. This is a new challenge for our foundation and a wonderful opportunity for our cyborgs to recover both physically and psychologically. You should have seen their eyes! Childlike joy from the lightness of the body in the water. At the same time, it is a new challenge, as they will have to learn to swim "in a new way." The trainer said, "You can do it! You just need to keep working." Cautiously, step by step, we truly believe they will succeed. Yes, there is still work to be done before moving to the "big water," but the story is just beginning. Perhaps soon, we will see someone from this group competing in swimming events. Support our "Rehabilitation of Cyborgs" program and help our heroes get a chance at a full life. Together, we can achieve more! #CyborgRehabilitation #SupportOurHeroes
