Despite the traditionally quieter autumn period, SkyUp Airlines continues to deliver strong results in the charter operations, reflecting our commitment to growth and operational excellence.  In the period from September 1 to November 3, 2024, SkyUp Airlines operated 14.74% more charter flights compared to the same period last year, reaching 28 countries across our network. These achievements highlight the dedication of our team and the loyalty of our passengers. SkyUp Airlines achieved an impressive 44.7% growth in ACMI services during the summer season of 2024. SkyUp’s flight network has expanded to cover even more countries and airports worldwide, and we strengthened partnerships with major airlines like Wizz Air, HiSky, ארקיע Arkia Israeli airlines, US-Bangla Airlines Ltd., and Israir Airlines. According to Alexey Tarasov, Head of ACMI at SkyUp™, "Our strong performance in 2024 shows the trust of our partners and our continued momentum. We see great potential for further growth." SkyUp™ plans to expand ACMI services beyond Europe, with new markets in Asia, Africa, and North America in sight.

In October, our charter department rose to the challenge, adding significant flight volumes, including several new routes, to meet increased demand from Europe to Egypt. As a trusted partner, we are proud to step in and support our clients with reliable, flexible solutions when they need them most. Throughout the month, we’ve contracted and successfully operated flights to destinations across Europe, with routes connecting popular spots like Hurghada to Warsaw, Katowice, Gdansk, Zurich, Bremen, Berlin, and beyond. Sharm El Sheikh also joined the schedule with routes to cities such as Budapest, Copenhagen, and Billund. This expansion has reinforced our commitment to serving our clients and travelers with dependable options wherever they are headed. By the end of October, we secured and delivered nearly 24 additional flights — a strong testament to the confidence our partners place in us. We are grateful for this collaboration and look forward to continued shared successes, therefore we are interested in new requests, especially on the basis of Egypt (HRG, SSH) and can provide optimal offers for the near future. SkyUp Airlines™ took part in Aviation Week Events MRO Europe in Barcelona, one of the largest conferences and networking events for the commercial aviation aftermarket. Held on 22-24 October, the event attracted over 10,000 participants, including representatives from airlines, MRO providers, and other industry experts. Our Operations Team spent several highly productive days at MRO Europe, holding about 25 meetings with existing and potential partners. We were thrilled to connect with industry leaders, explore future cooperation, and gain valuable insights into the latest trends in the aircraft maintenance and repair industry.  We are confident that the knowledge gained at the event will strengthen SkyUp™ operations across all areas. Exciting times ahead! 

SkyUp Airlines recently participated in an international forum focused on the security and recovery of Ukrainian aviation, held in Warsaw, Poland. The event brought together representatives from the governments of Ukraine, the United States, the United Kingdom, Poland, and other European Union countries, as well as stakeholders from Ukrainian airports and airlines, international air carriers, leading expert organizations, and aviation suppliers.    SkyUp Airlines actively took part in a panel discussion focused on the operations of airlines during wartime, the transformation of operational activities, and the prospects for safely resuming flights in Ukrainian airspace.    “We would like to thank the Ministry of Communities and Territories of Ukraine and the U.S. Embassy for organizing this important event. It is crucial for developing a unified strategy for the recovery of Ukrainian aviation. Safety is our common top priority. SkyUp Airlines is ready to be the first to return to the skies over Ukraine once airspace is open. We are actively working to maintain our fleet of aircraft and our qualified team, which will allow us to start flights within a few days after receiving the necessary permits. SkyUp Airlines™ team became a winner in the nomination “HR in Business Transformation” at the HR Pro Awards for their project “From Impossible to Incredible”.   The HR Pro Awards is a nationwide event for CEOs and HR professionals, recognizing exceptional achievements in HR. We are extremely pleased that the HR transformations showcased in our project were so highly valued by the jury and attending experts!  As part of the “From Impossible to Incredible” project, team presented our journey from the onset of the full-scale invasion to the results in 2024. They shared the experience and HR practices that helped SkyUp™ quickly recover from the faced challenges and enter eight new markets. Among the main topics were:  ▪️ prerequisites for transforming SkyUp™ processes;  ▪️ building a foundation for business development that allows to adapt to new challenges;  ▪️ implementation of flexible strategic approaches in operations to maintain competitiveness, and much more.
