The repository of truth about Ukraine and the Russian attack on its independence

Про нас

We are Ukraine – is the repository of the truth about the Russian-Ukrainian war and the strength of Ukraine. It brings together the key facts about the world's support of Ukraine, opinions of the Ukrainian and world leaders, insights into Ukrainian resilience, economy, culture, history, and calls to action with links to various verified sources. On February 24th, 2022, Russia launched an all-out military invasion of Ukraine by land, air, and sea, having accumulated over 170,000 troops on our borders in the north (Belarus), east, and south (Black Sea). It’s the biggest attack by one state against another in Europe since World War II. We are witnessing the destruction of an already fragile system of international security. At the time this text is written, hundreds of Ukrainian civilians have become casualties of this war, including innocent children. We are asking you to share the truth about what is happening. In doing so, you will be standing with Ukraine in its fight for its freedom and your own. Together we will ensure a lasting 21st-century peace. You can share the facts and messages once or share a new one every day. You can share these on social media, use them in publications and any other forms of communication. This project was created by the Ukrainian Emergency Collective of enthusiastic crisis management and communications professionals united by one single purpose of ensuring that all people around the globe understand: today, the future of humankind is being decided in Ukraine. The project was initiated by the One Philosophy group of companies.

Today, on June 28, Ukraine celebrates the 28th anniversary of the #Constitution of Ukraine, a cornerstone of our nation’s #democracy, sovereignty, and commitment to the rule of law. This day reminds us of the values and principles that form the backbone of our country. The current fundamental law provides for the inviolability of Ukraine's #sovereignty, inalienable right to life of every person, territorial indivisibility of Ukraine, and its security as the main value of the state. Ukraine honors and protects its Constitution every day! Honor it with us! #WeAreUkraine #StandWithUkraine

Mondelēz International, PepsiCo, Unilever, Nestle, Procter & Gamble, and Mars – these fast-moving consumer goods companies are recognized worldwide for their iconic brands, from Oreo and Milka chocolates to Pepsi and Dove soap. Despite Russia’s ongoing aggression against #Ukraine, these firms continue business operations in the country, supporting the Kremlin with corporate taxes & mobilization of their employees, as per requirements of Russia’s Partial Mobilization Law. How do they justify their continued presence in #Russia? Mainly by claiming to provide essential goods to the local population, even though their products consist of chocolates, cookies and personal hygiene items. Their CEOs also claim to care deeply about the welfare of their Russia-based employees, even though they are obliged to assist the Russian state with their mobilization to the frontline. Such excuses fall short in the face of the staggering human cost of the war. According to Ukraine's Prosecutor General's Office as of June, 2024, since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion, there have been more than 133,000 registered Russian war crimes. The toll on children is particularly devastating, with more than 550 killed and almost 1,400 injured. While Russia terrorizes Ukrainians on a daily basis, many global consumer brands do business in the country that continues to commit war crimes. It is no wonder that all six companies, #PepsiCo, #Mars, #Nestle, #Mondelez, P&G and #Unilever, have been named International War Sponsors by the Ukrainian #government. Today, the #CEOs of the largest consumer brands are gathering at the Consumer Goods Forum in Chicago. Why are these people invited to events as speakers again and again? Why are they being listened to? History has not forgotten those companies that supported Nazi Germany during World War II, and today's corporate leaders face a similar moral litmus test. B4Ukraine coalition calls to stop endorsing these companies’ contribution to Russia’s war crimes! Are they beloved brands or international sponsors of war? Make your choice. #B4Ukraine #StandWithUkraine #LeaveRussia #Chicago #FMCG

Despite numerous sanctions, Russia continues to fund its #war efforts, earning €610 billion from #oil and #gas since the 2022 invasion of Ukraine. This revenue exceeds the combined aid Ukraine received from North #America, #Europe, and #Asia by more than three times. By exploiting loopholes such as the "refining" loophole, employing a "shadow fleet," and benefiting from the absence of a European #ban on Russian LNG, Russia manages to bypass restrictions and sustain its war efforts. To truly cut off Russia's war funding, the #EU must ban Russian LNG imports and close other existing loopholes. This decisive action can reduce Russia's revenue and support the RePower EU plan to end reliance on Russian fossil fuels by 2027. Additionally, stripping Russia of its fossil fuel revenue, which plays a crucial role in funding its war efforts, could significantly impact its economy. This approach mirrors the impact of the 1980s oil glut, which contributed to the collapse of the USSR. Read more at B4Ukraine https://lnkd.in/d_dfdx4X

On June 1st, 2024, Ukraine launched an improved version of the War and Sanctions #portal, which is now a part of the Defence #Intelligence of Ukraine (DIU/GUR). The launch of the database previously managed by Ukraine’s National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP) was dedicated to International Children’s Day as the DIU published data on those involved in the deportation of Ukrainian children. The portal already contains data on hundreds of people involved in this act of cultural genocide against Ukraine. The list will be regularly updated. Other interesting data will be published soon within the portal: ships and planes that transport weapons; stolen #Ukrainian products, precious art collections of sanctioned #Russian oligarchs, foreign tech equipment (in particular, CNC machines) on which the aggressor produces weapons and many more. B4Ukraine welcomes the decision to relaunch the Sanctions and War portal. It’s a vital resource for holding companies accountable for their role in Russia’s illegal war of aggression against Ukraine. Alongside the restoration of vital databases on CNC machine tools and components, we hope to soon see the restoration of the international sponsors of war list with a new and improved methodology. 75 soldiers and civilians were returned from Russian captivity as part of a recent exchange, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced on social media. The Armed Forces, National Guard, border guards, and four civilians. All of them are already on their native land. We are making every effort to find each and every one of our people." Among those released were 19 captured from Zmiinyi Island and 10 defenders of Mariupol and Azovstal. #WeAreUkraine #StandWithUkraine

Sweden's Defense Ministry announced a fresh package of military #aid for Ukraine valued at $1.3 billion on May 29, 2024. It is #Sweden's largest tranche of military assistance since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. “We have held intensive discussions with countries in the fighter jet coalition and the assessment is that a donation of the ASC 890 airborne surveillance and control aircraft would have the largest impact on Ukrainian air defense,” Defense Minister Paal Jonson told a press conference in #Stockholm. “It will be an important contribution by adding capabilities that Ukraine doesn’t have currently,” he added. #WeAreUkraine #StandWithUkraine

The Czech government has expressed support for #NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg's recent statement advocating for Ukraine's use of Western weapons in strikes within Russian territory. Prime Minister Petr Fiala, speaking in Prague on May 28, 2024, endorsed this stance, stating, "As a country under attack, #Ukraine certainly has every right to use all means of defense," and characterized the position as "simply logical." Fiala highlighted the critical moment Ukraine is facing as Russian forces launch attacks across the Ukrainian border north of Kharkiv, potentially aiming to open a new front in the war. He also noted that the talks in Prague will focus on removing any remaining obstacles to Western arms deliveries and improving the coordination of these supplies. #WeAreUkraine #StandWithUkraine

#Sweden has granted Ukraine permission to use the weapons provided by #Stockholm in attacks against the Russian Federation. This authorization was confirmed by Swedish Defense Minister Pål Jonson in a statement to Hallandsposten. Jonson articulated that Ukraine is being subjected to an unprovoked and illegal war of aggression by Russia. He noted that, under international law, Ukraine has the right to defend itself through military operations that target enemy territory, as long as these operations are in compliance with the laws of war. Jonson further emphasized that Sweden is in full support of international law and Ukraine's right to self-defense. #WeAreUkraine #StandWithUkraine

On May 25, 2024, Russians attacked Kharkiv again. They targeted the residential area of Kharkiv and hit a construction hypermarket. "We have many people missing. Many wounded. Apparently, the blow was aimed directly at the shopping center, where many people were," said #Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov. Information on casualties will be updated. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that more than 200 people could have been inside the construction hypermarket. “As of now, we know that more than 200 people could have been inside the hypermarket,” Zelenskyy said on Telegram. #WeAreUkraine #StandWithUkraine
