Enforcement Update: Closure of Unlicensed Accommodation Facilities Begins! The Uganda Tourism Board, in collaboration with Uganda Police, has officially commenced the countrywide closure of unlicensed accommodation facilities today in Kampala. Facilities affected include: Hotels, Lodges, Guesthouses, Motels, Inns, Serviced Apartments, Cottages, Villas, Hostels, Tented Camps, and Farm Houses operating without a valid tourism operating license. Avoid closure by registering your facility and obtaining a license through the Quality Assurance System: qasystem.utb.go.ug/signup.
