This regenerative approach not only enhances food security but also strengthens community bonds, providing a pathway toward resilience and prosperity. • In Nakivale Refugee Settlement, a place where more than 200000 families are hosted by the Uganda Government, 85% rely on agriculture for livelihoods, but still climate change makes all farmers' efforts in vain The good news is that we’re advancing #climate justice by teaching refugees how to co-create food forests that heal the earth and uplift communities. 🌳✨ These forests transform degraded land into thriving ecosystems, mitigate climate change, and provide sustainable food sources. This isn’t just about planting trees it’s about addressing inequality by equipping refugees with the skills and tools to restore the land they live on while building climate resilience for future generations. Together, we’re turning environmental challenges into opportunities for justice and hope. 🌾💚 #ClimateJustice #FoodForests #LandRestoration #RefugeeEmpowerment #SustainableAgriculture #NakivaleImpact
