A festive whodunit: Which UK Christmas ad stole the show this year? For 2CVers, Waitrose & Partners Sweet Suspicion came out on top! With its light-hearted humour, charm, and a cast of familiar faces, it had us hooked. The multi-part ‘whodunit’ also kept office chatter buzzing as we eagerly awaited part two. 🤶 Another standout was Boots UK’s Make Magic. Packed with entertainment and featuring Bridgeton’s Adjoa Andoh as an empowered Mrs. Claus, this ad showcased inclusivity and diversity, while celebrating the important role that women play at Christmas. ❤️ On the sentimental side, Tesco’s Feed Your Festive Fun and JD Sports Fashion The Family Portrait hit home. Both ads provided emotional depth, focusing on real, heartfelt moments, and brought us back to the core values of Christmas: spending time with loved ones. We particularly loved the authentic portrayal of real, diverse families shown in the JD Sports ad. Overall, the range of ads showed that there’s room for both heartfelt themes and carefree fun at Christmas time; to acknowledge emotional elements of Christmas, but also leave space for the light-hearted and fluffy. Which ads got your office chatting? Drop us a message in the comments! 🎄 #ChristmasAds24 #FestiveMarketing #MakeYourMark
