About us
We support a wide range of manufacturing, technology, service and construction businesses in the implementation of UKAS accredited ISO Management System Standards. Our role is to help businesses cost effectively prepare for the UKAS accredited ISO certification process and if required to provide on going support. We have established a reputation as a supportive team, tailoring our services to meet our clients bespoke requirements to reflect the way that you change as a business. We have been particularly successful in helping businesses upgrade to the 2015 Standards which we consider to be a significant improvement in helping businesses more effectively link their processes to the on going development of the business and the changing environment in which we operate. When necessary we can work interchangeably to both ensure that support is immediately available as well as providing a "fresh pair of eyes" to help reinvigorate your system without having to look for another consultancy. We believe in taking our own "medicine" and operate our own UKAS accredited ISO system covering ISO 9001 and 14001. Over the last 18 years we have developed from just doing ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 to cover ISO 18001/45001, ISO 22301 and ISO 27001. We also have experience with FPC (Factory Process Control) Systems which are added on to ISO 9001 to ensure tighter control of manufacturing processes so that the products can be certified. Our clients use our services for 2 main reasons: 1)To assist in the tendering process by making it simpler to complete tenders and get a "better score". 2) To better control the internal processes in their businesses which allow the senior manager/owner to take on a more strategic role in the business. For most businesses they have wanted to do ISO 9001 for reason 2 but it ends up being reason 1 that starts them on the journey.

Chris Passmore of 2SB with the FE Burman Ltd senior management team to review their ISO system's strategic elements at the start of the next assessment cycle. 2SB are delighted to have supported F E Burman for the last 10 years, as they have established an unrivalled reputation for creative print solutions for some of the UK's leading brands. Ade Onabanjo, Production Director, comments: “Having an externally certified ISO system is challenging but necessary and Chris and his team have helped develop our processes to reflect the ever-changing business environment in which we operate” Chris Passmore adds: “It is impressive to see how over the last 10 years F E Burman have evolved from being a conventional printer to using paper and board in a much more creative way to help their clients sell concepts and ideas."

Earth Day - Monday 22nd April 2024 - is an opportunity to reflect on the ways in which we all can be environmentally responsible. This year's Earth Day theme is "Planet vs. Plastics". EARTHDAY.ORG writes, “Earth Day is a reminder of the importance of environmental conservation and sustainability, encouraging us to come together and take action for a healthier planet and brighter future.” What does Earth Day mean to you? To us, it means looking at what we do and understanding the consequences of the decisions we make. It's also about taking part in activities, big and small, to improve on our environmental impact. It’s become a tradition of ours that one of the ways we acknowledge Earth Day is to litter pick a local road. Something we maintain year-round is our ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) certification. ISO 14001 can help companies around the world reduce their adverse impact on the environment. At 2SB, we value our ISO 14001 certification and are committed to sustaining and improving our environmental performance to provide value for the environment, our clients and ourselves. We also offer ISO 14001 consultancy services to other businesses. If you want to know more about ISO 14001, contact us for information about how we can help your business achieve ISO 14001 certification. Whether it's through something big or small, Happy Earth Day to you and your team!
