"Apprentices have no social life" The last 6 months with FTA has proved this to be far from the truth and here's why: ☕️ What started as a simple meeting over coffee in February has blossomed into something truly special. Six months ago, a group of us met at a local coffee shop and realised our shared values and goals. From that moment, FTA was born, and we've been on an amazing journey ever since. ⚽️ We kicked off with an apprentice football tournament, followed by a casual Italian dinner, where we began to build strong connections. 💻 Work-from-Home Cafe Days: Blending productivity with networking, these days became a regular feature, allowing us to work together in a collaborative environment. 🌙 Iftaar Gathering: During Ramadan, we hosted an inclusive Iftaar open to both Muslims and non-Muslims, fostering cultural understanding and unity. ☀️ Summer Football League: Our summer was packed with energy as we launched a football league, offering weekly fun and competition. 🏏 Rounders in the Park: A casual rounders game that turned into a memorable evening with friends over a spontaneous Wingstop dinner. 🎳 From games nights to paintball, bowling, zumba, and golf each event has strengthened our bonds. These events have not only been fun but have also brought us closer as a community. ⚽ForTheApprentices Football Event⚽ Our Assistant Consultant, Baboucar Badjie, recently participated in a Football event held at Dagenham’s Power League, organised by ForTheApprentices. ForTheApprentices is a newly established non-profit London-based network aiming to provide valuable events, creating a space for apprentices of all backgrounds to come together and build meaningful connections.🤝 The session involved 21 participants, with 3 teams of 7 rotating on a 'winner stays on' schedule. Baboucar commented “The event was great and the feedback from the community was positive, with lots of requests to schedule the sessions on a bi-weekly/monthly basis!”. An Apprentice Iftar 🌙 🍴During Ramadan, we hosted an Iftaar for Apprentices. 🤲We managed to sell out the whole restraunt and was completely segregated with a prayer space available downstairs 👥Over 40 people came to the Iftar and we ensure to take on all feedback given for our next events.
