Here’s what she had to share: ❓ What’s a recent achievement at 8billionideas that you’re particularly proud of, and how has it shaped your growth? 🌟 One recent accomplishment I’m particularly proud of was taking on more responsibility in developing camp content, including the creation of the 8billionideas handshake. 🤝 It was incredibly rewarding to see children actively using the handshake and engaging with what I had created. 🎉 This experience not only allowed me to develop new skills but also helped me strengthen the ones I already had. 💪 The positive feedback from students and parents was fantastic, and it’s inspired me to keep creating impactful content in the future. 🌟 ❓ What aspect of the culture at 8billionideas do you think sets it apart and has made a difference in your work experience? What truly sets 8billionideas apart is the collaborative and supportive culture. Happy New Year! 🎉 As we begin 2025, I've been reflecting on 2024 and the whirlwind of work that I've been a part of at 8billionideas. I'm incredibly proud of everything our team has accomplished! From school visits for challenge showcases, camps that have brought new experiences and learning opportunities, assembly launches that have excited students about upcoming experiences with us, school deliveries that truly brought our mission to life to an amazing achievement of winning Start Up Company of the Year at the GESS Education Awards. 🏆 It's truly been a period of non-stop energy and growth! Each project has been a reminder of the power of collaboration, creativity, and resilience. It’s amazing to see everyone’s hard work come together to make a real impact and I couldn’t be more grateful to be a part of this journey. Good energy in good times. Good energy in tough times. I’ve always believed in the power of energy. People often say money makes the world go around, but if you think about it, actually energy does! Without energy, nothing is possible on a day to day basis. Without energy we can’t relish in the positive moments in our days. Without energy we can’t handle the problems or the more challenging moments. Going into 2025 I feel like I’ve got more energy than ever to make sure 8billionideas makes a stamp on the world. Keeping fit, eating well and attempting to sleep well will be key to that and things I will continue to try and manage! Make sure whatever your family and career goals are in 2025 you’re doing the basics of looking after yourself - do the basics correct, then you’ve got a chance of giving it your all 365 days a year! It’s not everyday that one can say that they have hosted an awards show to an online audience of 8 districts, 130+ schools & 25,000+ students… but that’s what I’ve just done, presenting ROAR 2024! 🦁 I feel very honoured to have had the opportunity of hosting the event, two year’s consecutively. ✌️ There was an amazing energy from the students, their video submission ideas were inspiring & it absolutely made my day seeing their victory celebrations! 🏆 A huge shout out to Danica Fronda , Calum Paterson & Joel Cowley all of whom played essential roles towards making today a big success! I couldn’t have asked for a better team to work alongside. Very proud to have played a small part in showcasing the vision of both Lions Clubs British Isles and 8billionideas ! After building on a very special 8billionideas week with Haileybury Almaty earlier this year, it’s been amazing to launch our partnership with them this academic year and also launch with their partner school Haileybury Bhaluka - our first in both Kazakhstan and Bangladesh. 🇰🇿🇧🇩 From Almaty to Bhaluka, we’re equipping students with the skills and belief to change the world by delivering our ‘Critical Curriculum’ on a weekly basis now in these two schools.
