Reflective Practice, Team Bonding, and Celebrations! Last week, our training team at Access Training Limited came together for a 2-day CPD session. The event was packed with valuable activities to help us grow as a team. We explored reflective practice through a SWOT analysis, identifying strengths, areas for development, and opportunities for the future. Each team member wrote a postcard to their future self, which was sealed in our Training Team Time Capsule to reflect on a years time! The session also included a fun and creative team showcase, where everyone had the chance to share ideas and skills, and a festive icebreaker that got everyone involved – even if it meant being cable tied together! We wrapped up the event with the famous Access Awards, celebrating the hard work and dedication of the entire team. It was a fantastic opportunity to reflect, connect, and celebrate. A huge thank you to Ian Blackburn from Life Saving Training for delivering an excellent 3-day First Aid at Work course to a group of our staff members including all of our Fire, Emergency and Security Systems Trainers! This comprehensive training is specifically designed for individuals working in higher-risk environments or with larger groups of people. It equips First Aiders with the skills and confidence to go beyond basic emergency first aid, preparing them to handle a wide range of injuries and illnesses effectively. The staff who completed this course are now well-prepared to respond to situations that may arise in our workshop classrooms and across the Access Training Centre, helping to create a safer environment for all.
