We extend our thanks to our clients, suppliers, and everyone involved in delivering all the projects over the last year and continuing to support us. Additionally, last night, we had the opportunity to celebrate individual achievements in the industry. Adlib's Robyn Hannah was honoured with the Monitor Engineer of the Year award, while our partners and collaborators were recognised as follows: • Emily Holt – Tour Manager of the Year • Sam Tozer – Lighting Designer of the Year • Oli Crump – Sound System Designer of the Year Congratulations to all the nominees and winners. Adlib delivered comprehensive technical production services for the Hillsong Conference 2024 at ExCeL London, managing audio, lighting, video, and rigging across multiple breakout rooms and the main hall. The three-day event combined seminars, communal worship, and live music performances, requiring versatile technical solutions throughout the venue. The lighting design featured over 175 fixtures, controlled via grandMA 2 light. The setup included Martin MAC Aura XB, Ultra Performance, and Ultra Wash units, complemented by ETC Source 4 Junior Zoom and SGM Q-8 Blinder fixtures for varied lighting effects. For the audio system, Adlib worked closely with Hillsong's technically experienced team, led by Technical Production Director Phil Aitken. The main room featured an L-Acoustics L2 system as its centrepiece, comprising 2 x L2 and 1 x L2D per side with flown KS28s behind. KARA II side hangs, and floor-mounted KS28s provided additional coverage while strategically placed A15 Wide boxes handled fill duties. The audio package included an extensive selection of Shure and Sennheiser handheld microphones for both spoken word and musical performances, supported by a 16-channel Sennheiser IEM monitoring system. The video production centred around an impressive upstage wall using ROE Visual Vanish V8T LED panels (10m x 3m), flanked by two Stumpfl IMAG screens (20" x 11"). Panasonic PT-RZ21K projectors handled content delivery, while a Barco E2-4K system managed screen distribution for multi-view, clock, auto cue, and relay displays. The broadcast setup integrated two Panasonic UC4000 Broadcast Cameras with Canon UHD DIGISUPER 90 lenses and three Panasonic AW-UE160 4K PTZ Cameras. Signal processing was handled by Ross Carbonite and Ultrix Driven 2M/E PPU, while eight AJA Ki Pro Ultra 12G multi-channel recorders captured content for Hillsong's post-production team to create VOD content. Throughout the conference, Hillsong's volunteers operated all of the supplied equipment, with the Adlib crew playing a crucial role, closely standing by to provide support in case of any technical difficulties.

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of hosting an afternoon with Sennheiser Spectera. Our guests attended a demo session delivered by Sennheiser's Kevin Gwyther Brown and Adlib's Systems Technical Manager, George Puttock, who provided an overview of the system, its components, and its applications. Live Technology Showcase - An Adlib Open The two-day event provided an immersive exploration of the latest innovations in live production, showcasing the possibilities for deep integration of audio, lighting, and video systems with real-time tracking and content generation. The showcase was packed with hands-on demonstrations and expert-led presentations, providing an in-depth look into the constantly changing landscape of live technology.
