This week we completed the demolition of the lower level buildings at the Old Royal Alexandria Hospital in Paisley. On this project we crushed in excess of 600 tones of material and moved 800 tons of earth for the client. Our 14 tonne excavator had its work cut out but still managed to complete the works on schedule. Concrete cutting: We care looking for operatives with experience in core drilling, wire sawing, track sawing, floor sawing and robotic demolition. Operatives will ideally have NVQ2 and full drivers licence. Training will be offered too for the right candidates. Previous building site experience is required. If you had experience in a similar role that would be highly advantageous. You must be willing to train. You must hold a valid UK driving license and CSCS card, and own vehicle is advantageous.   Demolition Labourer/Groundworker: General construction site labouring including site cleanliness Experience in groundwork and use of machinery i.e. dumper, diggers and cherry pickers. General strip out and demolition Ensure any health and safety hazards are reported/removed (slip & trip hazards, untidy cables) You will be able to demonstrate, at interview, excellent knowledge of best practice health and safety in the work place and on construction and live project sites, your positive approach and commitment to delivering an effective customer service experience as well as an ability to create successful and respectful relationships with customers and colleagues. Working Hours - The minimum working week will be 40 hours, 8 hour daily shifts, with opportunities to extend this.

One of our Demolition teams took down and cleared part of the old Craigholme school in the south side of Glasgow this week.
