This year, Afallen celebrated six years since we formally began our journey – a journey that was launched with the captivating words and voice of the poet Aled Gwyn, guiding us into the unknown. For those less familiar with Afallen, our core mission is to keep money, profits, and skills in Wales, while fostering a more sustainable future for our nation. This year, we wanted to share some of our ambitions and highlight how every organisation – private, public, and third sector– can contribute more toward a sustainable Wales. To help us all reflect on what we can do better – from changing education to rethinking our attitudes and behaviours – we commissioned Professor Calvin Jones to author a thought-provoking blog series. Inspired by Afallen but uniquely his own, Calvin's work delves deep into the social and economic issues we face, challenging us all to think differently. Thanks to everyone that joined us last week. I'r rhai sy'n llai cyfarwydd ag Afallen, ein cenhadaeth graidd yw cadw arian, elw a sgiliau yng Nghymru, tra'n meithrin dyfodol mwy cynaliadwy i'n cenedl. Eleni, roeddem am rannu rhai o'n huchelgeisiau a thynnu sylw at sut y gall pob sefydliad - y sector preifat, y sector cyhoeddus a'r trydydd sector - gyfrannu'n fwy tuag at Gymru gynaliadwy.
