About us
African Leadership Global is a joint venture between Gen A Consultancy, Bristol and Oxford-based Strong Enterprises. We have brought together a consortium of leaders from across Africa and the UK who are driven by the potential of the transformative nature of African wisdom in today's business models. We have designed and developed a dynamic Executive Leadership Training course that will both inform today's leaders and facilitate research for future leaders from emerging economies. The intention is to develop a new understanding of the cultural variations in wise leadership across the African continent that will lead to sustainable change.

It was an absolute pleasure to attend the DS-I Africa 2025 annual meeting earlier this month with Ekin Bolukbasi. And not just because it was hosted in beautiful Mauritius... As Wellcome investment in the use of data science and AI to improve health in Africa increases, we want to collaborate with those leading in this space – like the DS-I Africa consortium. DS-I Africa is delivering forward thinking, problem-focused data science research, grounded in local needs, with pan-African connections and global relevance and importance. It was great to listen, learn, reconnect with some folks and meet some new people too: Kiros Berhane, Nicola Mulder, Agnes Kiragga, Sumir Panji, Kennedy Mwai, Mogomotsi Matshaba, Segun Fatumo, Peter Amoako-Yirenkyi, Nchangwi Munung, Jasmit Shah (Sumaria), Ph.D., Michelle S., Laura Povlich, Brad Newsome, Noffisat O. O.... & the many others I have missed. Special mention to francis agamah for lending me the bell of power during the workshop we ran on data diversity in human genomics. 🔔 And thanks again to DS-I Africa for having us! 🇲🇺 🦤
