The hit Australian comedy Laid, originally created by Porchlight Films, has been reimagined in a bold new US adaptation now streaming on Peacock! Garnering critical acclaim, it’s been hailed as “acerbic, raunchy fun” by The New York Times and praised as “a funny and interesting journey” by Decider. Starring Stephanie Hsu and Zosia Mamet, this darkly hilarious “f*cked-up rom-com” (as co-creators Nahnatchka Khan and Sally Bradford McKenna call it) follows Ruby as she retraces her romantic past to solve an unexpected mystery. As the international distributor of the format, we’re thrilled to see Peacock bring this unique format to life for a whole new audience.
