It affects movement, speech, and everyday life in ways that can be overwhelming. But with the right support, research and funding, we can all help drive change. For 2025, we’re proud to stand with Parkinson’s UK, a charity dedicated to funding groundbreaking research, improving care, and finding better treatments for those living with Parkinson’s. Their work gives hope to the 153,000 people in the UK affected by the condition, and we’re ready to do our part. Our retail marketing strategy for Samworth Brothers successfully served this up! ✅ When tasked with re-positioning Urban Eat’s food-to-go offering to Gen-Z university students, we went all in with an ‘always on’ social media strategy to keep them entertained, engaged and hungry for more. Knowing that most students discovered brands and new products on Instagram, we delivered snackable, relatable Insta-centric content that was quick and satisfying - just like the sandwiches. 🥪 Developed across five key pillars, we brought Urban Eat’s personality to life. Capitalising on calendar moments like Freshers’ week, exam season, on-the-go foodie moments and even the Royal Jubilee(!), we tapped into the moments that mattered to students most or current affairs, resulting in witty and humorous posts. Serving up fun food facts, polls and quizzes, we kept the brand relevant with reactive, trend-led content that kept Urban Eat part of the conversation and front of mind at mealtimes. Today is Time to Talk day, a campaign created by Rethink Mental Illness and Mind that reminds us the power a simple exchange of words have in helping others to open up about their state of mental health. By continuing the conversations we also break down the stigma associated with discussing mental health openly. To support the initiative, our Mental Health First Aiders are keeping their calendars free for 1:1 chats.  No meetings, no interruptions, just a safe space to talk, listen and be heard. We get it.  Life can get overwhelming.  It's easy to rush through the day without pausing to check in on ourselves or those around us. Yet, taking the moment to engage, and to encourage someone to open up about their feelings, and to actively listen can change everything. Whether the altavia.uk team is working remotely or in the office, a chat and confidential mental health support is just a conversation away.
