Modern pouch cells are commonly designed with tabs on the opposite sides. This allows of better current density and heat distribution. In this configuration, also the cooling in battery pack can be more efficient. With such engineering advances we are able to push the battery technologies to their limits. I’m excited to share that we are expanding capabilities of the Pouch Cell Holder to accommodate cells designs with tabs on the opposite sides. This enables researching new cell configurations and streamlined, reliable testing of state-of-the-art commercial cells.
