Our co-founder Kate Daly was asked by Good Homes Magazine Online about the reality of living with your ex following a split. Research shows that on average, over a third of separated Britons have to live with the ex they co-own a home with for more than a year after their split. As Kate points out, moving out immediately after a split is a luxury reserved only for the wealthy. Eight years to settle finances is not normal. It gets reported because of celebrity status… which is understandable… but let’s not normalise it. Only one group of people benefit from eight years of letters back and forth! Time for a different approach.
