Strengthening Fraud Prevention: Insights from today's Fintech Hub LT workshop! Today, Fintech Hub LT, in cooperation with the Lietuvos kriminalinės policijos biuras, Finansinių nusikaltimų tyrimo tarnyba (FNTT) and Revolut, successfully hosted a highly engaging and interactive workshop on fraud prevention. This workshop, which was moderated by Vaida Ražanauskė, Chief Legal Officer at Fintech Hub LT, brought together key stakeholders to share knowledge and practical insights to address one of the most pressing challenges in the financial sector - fraud. The workshop began with insightful presentations from representatives of the Criminal Police Bureau and Revolut, who shared the latest fraud trends, practical experiences and strategies for implementing robust fraud prevention measures. These presentations highlighted the dynamic and ever-evolving nature of financial crime and emphasised the importance of proactive collaboration between public institutions and private entities in the fight against fraud. Participants then took part in a hands-on workshop where they worked in small groups on real-life scenarios. Guided by a facilitator, teams analysed fraud-related cases step-by-step, gaining deeper insights into fraud detection and mitigation strategies. This collaborative format enabled participants to actively shape the outcomes of each scenario while honing their problem-solving skills. Events like this underscore the critical role of public-private partnerships (PPPs) in creating a resilient financial ecosystem. Fintech Hub LT remains committed to fostering collaboration and innovation to address key industry challenges.
