We urgently need your help… Stepping Stones, our reception-age class, is missing a vital piece of play equipment. During the October half-term, their climbing frame was removed after falling into disrepair. It was a lovely piece of equipment which supported our students to focus and regulate their emotions, through the power of play. We now have the opportunity to build a better playground for the class and the children who will join Stepping Stones in the future. We need to raise £25,582 to replace the climbing frame which is the first step in a longer project to update the whole play space. We’re calling on our community to help deliver a very important Christmas wish for our youngest students by donating, fundraising and spreading awareness of our appeal. Last week, we had the pleasure of attending the The Royal Marines Christmas Spectacular at Bournemouth Pavilion Theatre. 🥁 🎶 Our volunteers supported with selling programmes at the start of the evening, before collecting donations for Autism Unlimited as the night came to a close. Thanks to our wonderful volunteers and everyone who generously donated, we raised an incredible £1,065.06. We spent a brilliant morning at AFC Bournemouth, discussing the importance of supporting neurodiversity in the workplace. A big thank you to Bond Williams Professional Recruitment for inviting us to share our insights alongside ViewHR. Becs, Claire, Josh and Mimi shared their inspiring lived experiences, emphasising how understanding and adjustments have supported them to thrive in the workplace, and reinforcing the need for inclusive environments. It was great to impart our knowledge and expertise to a room full of HR professionals wanting to make a difference.
