Aventus Energy recently supported Sarens PSG in the repair, modification, and application of a new coating system to a Monopile Bolting Training Rig. Our skilled, multi-disciplinary team undertook a comprehensive scope of work at our facility within the Port of Cromarty Firth, which included welding, fabrication, rigging, non-destructive testing, paint stenciling, and coating application. Despite a challenging deadline set by the client, our team worked diligently to complete the project on time, ensuring the rig’s readiness for its new home at Moray West’s facility at Buckie Harbour. The rig will now play a crucial role in training personnel for the bolting installation of monopile flanges ahead of offshore deployment to Moray West wind farm. #OffshoreWind #Welding #Fabrication #Rigging #NondestructiveTesting
