Erm..... a whole DECADE in the Flex Workspace Industry?! (Actually, it was a few months ago - I’ve only just realised the date) 10+ years of the BEST experiences: - A million billion trillion coffees - Building the most incredible relationships and lifelong friends. - Offering the best workspace solutions for businesses, teams, and individuals My journey started from humble beginnings, moving from the toon to Leeds to study Criminology at uni (HA) and working in the hospitality industry. I landed on a little reception desk for a well known London focused serviced office provider. From there, I grew into roles such as Building Manager, General Manager and now Sales Manager at Avenue HQ! This industry has given me SO much - some of my best friends, memories, connections, and now my family! The flexible workspace world has evolved tenfold over the years, and I’m really grateful to have been part of that transformation! To everyone I’ve met along the way, thank you. Your support, collaboration, and fun times have made this journey unforgettable. Delivering AI awareness training is about much more than just showing people the incredible tools which are out there... 👀✨ For a lot of businesses I deliver AI awareness and skills training to, the world of AI is actually quite daunting. 😟🤖 Some people hear the term and start to worry about robots (of the SkyNet variety) or job displacement. 🛑⚙️ Others are concerned about data protection, privacy, and security. 🔒📊 Some worry their teams (or their kids) will use the tools to cut corners and lose their ability to think critically about the work they are doing. 🧠❓ Many simply feel overwhelmed with the pace that technology has changed in their lifetime. ⏩🌐 These are all very valid concerns, which deserve to be acknowledged, discussed, and considered. 💬🤝 My job is to give space for these thoughts to come out, so that we can collectively take a solutions-focused approach to mitigate these challenges and areas of doubt. 🛠️✅ I do that through: 📚 Clear and accessible explanations of foundational concepts in AI. 🗣️ Giving everyone a platform to anonymously share their thoughts. 💡 Finding real-life examples of how the tools can create value in your field of work. 🤔 Supporting everyone in the room to 'think generatively,' so they can spend more time doing the work that matters most. AI technologies are going to continuously improve over the coming weeks, months, and years. Food makes everything better… It’s been a lovely first few days at Avenue HQ meeting a the team and some of our members! As a welcome back after the Christmas break we organised a few tasty treats for our members this morning.
