#MonifiethLearningCampus Great to visit Monifieth learning over the weekend to take in the progress being made on all aspects. This school will be another first for Avtek delivering the first Passivhaus Trust school in Angus. We are installing Metal Technology Ltd curtain walling and doors. Its always great to visit the City of Discovery and take in the progress being made on "PLOT 6 Office 2" over the past few weeks. You can't miss the development really as you approach from the Tay Bridge. Avtek’s Metal Technology Ltd starting to showcase well on all aspects of this exciting delivery. “The community facility, which will replace the current Braeview Academy and Craigie High School, will house a music and drama centre suitable for pupils from across the city and wider and community use. There will also be a café and library that will be accessible during the day for members of the public and school use. Avtek’s Design and Manufacturing services are well under way for the new Liberton Community Campus in Edinburgh. the project is designed by JM Architecture Inc and is being delivered by Balfour Beatty plc. This exciting delivery provides an amazing opportunity to create, as part of an inclusive net zero-carbon city, a community lifelong learning and sports hub to replace the existing Liberton High School. The brief for the project is to create a vibrant and thriving learning environment for 1200 students, where public services can be co-located with links to active travel networks, green infrastructure and public transport networks.
