Proud to say we have smashed our target for our first organised Charity Event for Sue Ryder Moggerhanger. 😁 7 of us from Barton Jones Packaging Ltd took part in a Half Marathon on the 7th June around the Letchworth Green Wheel. 🏃🏃 A huge thank you to everyone who participated, cheered us on and supported our fundraising efforts. Your enthusiasm and generosity made this event a resounding success!

Today a group of us completed a Half Marathon around Letchworth! 🏃🏽 Setting off around lunchtime with the weather getting up to 19 degrees, it’s safe to say it was a warm one ☀️ We all completed it, with most having never run that distance before 👏🏼 Our chosen charity is Sue Ryder St.Johns Hospice in Moggerhanger. Unfortunately our original just giving page had been set up incorrectly, so the money we had raised is being refunded to all donors and we have had to start again from scratch 🫣 https://lnkd.in/e63JBV7a With that being said we have already managed to get back some of those donations and we are really hoping now the half marathon is completed we can get some more donations to hit our target again 🙏🏽 Massive shout of to everyone that joined in today Steven Benham, Jack Osborne, Ellis Lacey, Toby Williamson, Stuart, Brandon Cave Tyler and Matt! An extra thanks to Justin Burrell for meeting us at points with drinks and gels! 🥤 We finished off the day with an early finish for all with pizza and beer! 🍕🍺 Not only a great chance to raise money for charity but also for team building! 👏🏼
