🧠 “1 in 5 of our children are battling mental ill health. Together, we can be the change.” At Bath Rugby Foundation, we prioritise mental health in every programme. Through sport, mentorship, and safe spaces like our Alternative Learning Hub, we help young people develop the resilience and self-belief to thrive. 💙 Your support during the Big Give is already changing lives, but mental health needs ongoing action. Let’s keep the momentum going. 👉 You can donate to our life-changing programmes: https://lnkd.in/dvSdpiQ #MentalHealthMatters #SupportOurChildren #BathRugbyFoundation

🎉 2024: A year of growth, impact & community at Bath Rugby Foundation As the festive season approaches, we’re taking a moment to reflect on an incredible year of progress and positivity. From life-changing moments for young people at our Alternative Learning Hub to the growth of our inclusive Sport For All programmes like our Hi5! Clubs — it’s been a year filled with impact, empowerment, and community spirit. Highlights of 2024 include: 👉 Launching our 2023/24 Impact Report, showcasing how we help young people build confidence, develop life skills, and create pathways to independence. 👉 Raising vital funds through the Big Give Christmas Challenge, thanks to our close relationship with Bath Rugby and Bath Rugby Supporters' Club, and dedicated work by Halena Coury, Sarah Tarling and David Trick. 👉 Supporting the next generation of rugby talent with the upcoming Beppu, Japan trip for Bath RFC U15s and St Mark’s School students, made possible by Premiership Rugby funding secured by our Community & Assets Manager, Alex Randall. 👉 Continuing to create life-changing opportunities through our BOOST and ADVANTAGE programmes, led by our incredible Alternative Learning Coaches, Officer, and Manager, Jonathan Wood. 👉 The ongoing growth of our community rugby initiatives; Mixed Ability Rugby, supported by our amazing Community Coaches, and Community Inclusion Officer Jack Hill. None of this would have been possible without the dedication of our incredible staff, supporters, volunteers, and Trustees — and the leadership of our CEO, Lynne Fernquest, who has been a driving force behind our growth this year. 🙌 We invite you to take a moment to read our 2024 Year in Review — a celebration of the powerful work we do with young people in our community. It’s a chance to look back on the partnerships we’ve built, the lives we’ve changed, and the impact we’ll continue to make together. 📖 Read the review here: https://lnkd.in/erba_4ii Thank you to every donor, supporter, and partner who has been part of our journey this year. Your generosity and belief in our mission mean the world. 💙 Here’s to an even bigger and brighter 2025! 🌟 #YearInReview #BathRugbyFoundation #ThankYou #CommunityImpact #MakingADifference

Let's keep closing the gap together. 👉 Join us in building a brighter future for every child: https://lnkd.in/eutT8RBz #CloseTheGap #educationforall #bathrugbyfoundation

We're thrilled to be working with Howden and Abi Brinkhurst's team on the Boot Exchange — a brilliant initiative that will make a real difference for young people in our community. Huge thank you to everyone who’s already contributed. If you have old boots lying around this Christmas, please do consider donating them — together, we can ensure more young people have access to the kit they need to get active and build confidence. Excited to see where this partnership takes us! 🏉🤍 #Community #BootExchange #BathRugbyFoundation #AllOfUs
Introducing our Boot Exchange in collaboration with Bath Rugby Foundation🏉 Our lovely friends at Bath Echo have published an article featuring words from myself, Craig Pope, Lucy Slade & Alex Randall - this project has the potential to really positively impact young peoples lives! A massive shoutout to Alex & Lucy for getting on board with this and inviting us into their world at the foundation 👏🏼 Also a moment of recognition for Jason Grange. A very impressive and generous donation (our biggest so far!). He very kindly gave us 10 pairs of boots and 3 brand new footballs! 👏🏼 This Christmas, if you are receiving or giving someone a new pair of boots, drop the old ones to us and let us put 'em to good use - don't worry if they're a little muddy as I have become quite the expert in cleaning boots 😂🏉🤍 You can read the article below or indulge in their latest issue here - https://lnkd.in/ef_8sirN #community #bootexchange #howden #bathrugbyfoundation #allofus

😞 “School should be safe, not scary.” Through our Alternative Learning Hub, we give young people a fresh start away from toxic environments. We create safe, inclusive spaces where young people build confidence, social skills, and self-worth. 💙 Thanks to your support during the Big Give, we’re helping more children find their strength. Every child deserves a place where they feel safe and supported. 👉 Help us help more young people who struggle in mainstream schools.
