Thanks Jo Logan 😃 and Charlotte Baker for visiting one of our offices today to speak with our staff in person 🙏. It's been really great to launch this scheme across the Independent Office for Police Conduct to help support colleagues with their emotional, physical and financial wellbeing. We're already getting fab feedback from staff about their experiences with BHSF so far: I have just claimed for dental and glasses, the process was faultless and seamless, a breath of fresh air. Joining was very straightforward, and I made a dental claim yesterday, and this morning already received an email to say the claim had been paid and the payment should arrive within 3-4 days. Such a positive experience so far! I logged into my BHSF account and uploaded my receipt, it was so easy! I got an email confirmation straight away and then an email this Monday to say it had gone through. Checked my bank this morning and the £XX has gone in. If anyone does have any issues, I would advise that they call the helpline number and they will definitely get all the help they need - couldn't fault them myself! Looking forward to building on this early success 🤩

Starting the new year feeling very proud of Team BHSF's final fundraising total for the St Basils Sleepout. We raised an amazing £5,556.73! 🤩   Thank you so much to everyone who donated, and thank you to the lovely group of colleagues who made spending the night out in the cold more bearable. Special thanks to Luke for leading our shelter build, Bethany for carrying my cardboard, Hayley-Jayne for bringing Christmas spirit to our decorations, Edmund for his patience when we found out the sticky tape was not sticky, Ryan for bringing a quiz game to keep us entertained and Lucy for sharing her snacks!
