CGPA and BIBA Great to meet with some real supporters of the UK insurance broking market. Ten years ago I was having conversations with a continental insurer, CGPA, about bringing new capacity for insurance brokers’ professional indemnity insurance to the UK, a regional market they had never entered, and one where, at that time, UK insurers weren’t exactly queueing around the block to participate. That conversation grew and ultimately CGPA Europe became part of the BIBA Professional Indemnity Initiative via one of our three accredited PII brokers (now part of Pen Underwriting UK). I am pleased the facility is as successful as ever and helping brokers with their PI needs along with our other accredited brokers of Lockton and Griffiths & Armour. So a big thank you to Eric Evian and Sylvain de Nombel for their long term support of BIBA members, we look forward to another ten years. GT
