🌟 Exciting News 🌟 We are proud to announce that Changing Suits is a partner in the South West Race Equity Research Network (SWRERN), led by @blackswnet , which has just secured £1 million in funding from @weareukri!🎉 This funding will enable groundbreaking community-focused research to tackle racial inequalities across the South West. SWRERN is a collaboration of 15 partners, including 13 community organisations focused on racial justice and 2 leading universities in Bath and Bristol. The Network is committed to 5 key areas of impact: 1️⃣ Empowering communities with research capacity and confidence. 2️⃣ Exploring anti-racist methodologies tailored to local communities. 3️⃣ Up-skilling partners in technical research and sharing innovative approaches. 4️⃣ Leveraging digital tools for equitable knowledge-sharing and data co-production. 5️⃣ Breaking barriers to research, data, and innovation access for communities. SWRERN’s ultimate goal is to reimagine knowledge production through an anti-racist lens, placing Black and Minoritised communities at the heart of its efforts to create tangible, positive change.
