I was delighted to share my thoughts in the latest PropertyEU Logistics Watch alongside Marco Riva at Crossbay on urban logistics and how to secure prime urban warehouse sites in London, despite the increasing competition for space. At Bloom, we believe there is a unique opportunity in owning and operating urban warehouses in locations which benefit from strong demand-side fundamentals including the growth in e-commerce, business activity, urbanisation and changing demographics, including rapid consumption of goods and services. On the supply side, there is a shortage of well located, high quality, sustainable warehousing which is being compounded further by the shrinking availability of industrial land in London which has lost 24% of it's industrial land in the last 20 years to alternative uses. We are seeking new investment opportunities in markets where we believe these conditions exist including London & South East, Manchester & Birmingham.
