Mark brings a wealth of experience and an unparalleled dedication to the field of business valuation. He is the Managing Director of Zyla Valuation Advisors,LLC, an Atlanta-based valuation and litigation consultancy firm. Additionally, Mark serves as a Lecturer in Advanced Valuation for Consultants in the Department of Finance at the McCombs School of Business, University of Texas at Austin. Mark's contributions to the profession are profound: Former Chairman of the Standards Review Board at the International Valuation Standards Council (IVSC). Service on the AICPA’s Forensic and Valuation Services Executive Committee and the Business Valuations Committee of the American Society of Appraisers (ASA) Inducted into the AICPA Business Valuation Hall of Fame in 2013. A prolific author and presenter, Mark has educated judges at the Federal Judicial Center and the National Judicial College. He is the author of Fair Value Measurement: Practical Guidance and Implementation (3rd ed., John Wiley & Sons, Inc., 2020) and co-author of Accounting for Goodwill and Other Intangible Assets (BNA Bloomberg, 2018).
