🌍🌿 In line with this year’s #COP29 and the ongoing dialogue around climate change, we want to take a moment to spotlight the amazing work of Dr Audrey Cameron, Chancellor's Fellow at the University of Edinburgh. Her research is paving the way for better understanding of complex scientific concepts through sign language - an essential tool for inclusivity in education! Dr Cameron doesn’t just research; she also teaches PGDE Secondary Education (Chemistry with Science) and MSc Inclusive Education (Deaf Studies) courses at University of Edinburgh Moray House School of Education and Sport. Her innovative approach involves a collaboration with a dedicated team of 12 experts, including deaf scientists, deaf educators, and sign linguists, all working together to develop sign language for some of the trickiest climate terms.
