We are a progressive sustainable organisation who are proud to serve the construction industry across the South.

About us

You have probably benefitted from a service we have helped fix, build or maintain if you live or have visited the southern region of the UK. You may have drunk a glass of water. Flushed the loo. Driven your car to work. Been fishing at the weekend. Bought a new house or extended an old one. Or emptied your garage and had your rubbish collected. These services, often taken for granted, are essential to our modern way of living and our team are available 24/7 to make them happen. Our work allows planes to land and depart from the UK’s busiest airport and we transport bespoke freight solutions across the UK. We partner with utilities ensuring necessary services like water, sewerage, gas and electric is supplied. We help developers connect new properties as well as providing them with the raw materials to build and the removal of their waste to our recycling centres. We help keep traffic flowing via a programme of highway drainage maintenance for London’s busiest boroughs. We improve the environment by regenerating old quarries & creating leisure spaces. We are a progressive sustainable business. We are Cappagh Group of Companies.

  • Last week, Cappagh, in collaboration with Solent Excavations and supported by Portsmouth Water, successfully completed the first phase of the Welborne Mains diversion project. This phase involved the installation of 650 meters of new 450mm water main, ahead of the upcoming Welborne Village development at Junction 10 of the M27. The project forms part of a wider programme of mains diversions designed to support the new development and improve several local road junctions. A key priority throughout the project was minimising disruption to local customers. To meet this challenge, the team worked within a tight time frame to ensure that water supplies to the Fareham and Gosport areas were fully restored before peak demand the following morning. To achieve this, the team utilised the specialist ‘line stop’ technique, which allowed the main to be shut off closer to the connection point. This approach reduced the time needed to drain down and quickly restore functionality, ensuring minimal disruption. Excellent teamwork and dedication by all involved! 👏

  • Marine Conservation Society’s Great British Beach Clean! On Friday 27th September Cappagh employees working on our Portsmouth contract gathered at Portchester Castle to undertake a beach clean as part of the Great British Beach Clean Week on behalf of the Marine Conservation Society. The aim of the week is to clean up beaches all around the UK and Northern Ireland, collecting litter and collating vital data that can be used to drive conservation works, campaign for change and make a positive impact on our oceans. Our team based in Havant were ready and prepared, litter pickers in hand, to clear the beach of all litter and waste. The team had a fantastic time, interacting with the residents and making this area a cleaner place for our local community.

We are delighted to announce that we have been chosen as one of Southern Water’s Tier 1 Service Providers to deliver works on their AMP 8 Wastewater Network Service Framework. This represents a continuation of our journey with Southern Water which began in 2015 on Amp 6 and will be our third successive AMP. During the past two AMPs we have worked in partnership with Southern Water to significantly upgrade their wastewater infrastructure, successfully reduce pollutions, and improve customer service and experience. Southern Water’s plans for AMP8 are even more ambitious and we are very excited to be one of their Service Providers on their £500m programme to yield further improvement to the network, customer journey and their ambition to have zero pollutions.
