We’re excited to announce that Winvic has been shortlisted for two awards at this year’s Love to Rent Awards: 🏗️ Best Build to Rent Development Award Midlands - The Corkfield project in Edgbaston, completed for client PATRIZIA SE 🌟 Social Value Impact in BTR Award - The Bath House in Birmingham, set to complete in November 2024 Corkfield, already recognised as a key edge of city location in Birmingham, is a shining example of modern Build to Rent (BTR) developments that promote community, wellbeing, and sustainable living. The project delivered over 4,773 employment and training weeks, creating local partnerships, and fostering a strong sense of community among residents. The Bath House has become a flagship project for social value delivery. Through a collaborative effort, Winvic surpassed the target of 3,084 employment weeks and delivered an incredible 6,890 employment and training weeks. Our work with Birmingham City Council, local subcontractors, and community organisations has made a positive impact in the lives of Birmingham residents, supporting job creation, education, and local charities. ☔ It seems our worries that the rain would keep people away were misplaced! We had a very full house at The Association for Rental Living Midlands Hub end of summer drinks, hosted by the fabulous Nicola Fleet-Milne and sponsored by Apo Group Ltd/Hubbl, Centrick and FleetMilne. Raffle gifts were generously provided by local businesses to support Birmingham Mind and Kerrie Henry-Edge provided a great overview of the work they are doing to support the #Birmingham area. I'd also like to thank the stellar Corkfield team by Native Places for their hospitality, providing tours of the gorgeous site and gave an overview on their Neighbourhood Hero programs, putting locals at the heart of the community. We are sooo excited to be attending the Mix Awards this Thursday evening with our table kindly hosted by our interiors and furniture designers & supplier team Cast Living for our Build-to-Rent residential scheme Corkfield at Edgbaston. This is so special to be nominated for these really cool awards, and the Battersea venue looks stunning too. Whatever happens on the night, it’s great to be recognised for this scheme’s design flair and the PATRIZIA SE RED + AM team X Cast Living X Arcadis design collab that put so much time & effort into carefully crafting the interior designs, hand-selecting the natural, upcycled & recycled materials and choosing colours that are so vibrant and on-trend, but lasting, and importantly to be welcoming to people of all ages and demographic. This is now evidenced in our lease-up campaign. When we first talked around the design table at Cast’s City offices over a year ago now about peach coloured ceilings and Pooch-Pods, there was a lot of raised eyebrows, but committing to brave design choices, trusting your instincts and seeing the amenity interiors areas come to life, and now occupied, has been nothing short of amazing. And when you start to see this being reproduced elsewhere, you kind of feel very flattered in a way. An eye for detail and colour is so key in these situations, and some get it so wrong, or right, but being brave and trusting the fantastic design team around you makes it really special indeed. Thank you also to Winvic Construction Ltd for delivering on our design vision too.
