About us
Families where a child has a brain condition face challenges every day. Just to learn, play, make friends, enjoy and experience the world can feel difficult, even impossible. But we don't believe there's any challenge that can't be overcome. So we listen to families, we learn from them, we work with them. we carry out research, we design and innovate, we make and share. From new equipment to new learning resources, to new ways to play and support each other, everything we find out together makes life better. It opens doors to discovering the world. It's an incredibly rewarding journey fro everyone involved. Why not be a part of it? You never know what we'll discover together.

Half a million UK children suffer from brain conditions. I feel privileged to have been invited to join the Board of Trustees of the charity, Cerebra (Charity) which supports these children whose conditions result from illness, genetics, or traumatic injury. Cerebra provides much-needed help, advice and practical support to the families of these children and young people. This brilliant charity exists to make the seemingly impossible possible for the 500,000 children in the UK who are living with brain conditions that result in complex medical, educational, and social support needs. The charity funds ground-breaking research into brain conditions and associated sleep disorders. It has set up The Cerebra Innovation Centre (CIC) which designs and builds bespoke devices and toys to help disabled children navigate the world around them and has a book and toy library.
