For many individuals, getting an official diagnosis for neurodiverse conditions like ADHD can be a long and challenging journey. With limited access to resources and the cost of private assessments, it’s no wonder many remain undiagnosed. CF Psychology is committed to bridging this gap, offering affordable and accessible assessments to ensure that everyone can receive the support they deserve! #neurodiversityuk #dyslexiaawareness #cfpsychology

🎄 The holiday season is the perfect time for your child to recharge and enjoy a well-deserved break. But it can also bring worries about “falling behind” or keeping up with learning. Here are some tips to help your child make the most of their time off: 1️⃣ Set realistic goals: Focus on one or two light learning activities to keep their mind engaged without overwhelming them. 2️⃣ Incorporate fun learning: Use board games, festive crafts, or holiday-themed stories to sneak in learning while keeping it enjoyable. 3️⃣ Prioritise rest and play: The break is for relaxing too—ensure plenty of downtime to recharge for the new year. A balanced approach helps your child return to school energised and ready to learn. How does your family make the most of the holidays? 🎅 #parentingtips #christmasbreak #learningandfun

A recent article in The Times highlights the challenges faced by neurodivergent individuals in laboratory environments. Daisy Shearer, a former researcher at the University of Surrey, left her role due to the inaccessibility of labs for neurodivergent people. Shearer emphasised that poor lighting, noise, and crowded spaces can be overstimulating, making it difficult for neurodivergent individuals to work effectively.
