CGTN – the China Global Television Network, its English TV channel, and its digital media platforms were launched on December 31, 2016. This year CGTN is expanding its coverage; enlarging its presence on line and on air with the opening of its fourth Global Production Centre. The European Production Centre based in Chiswick Park, London joins centres in Beijing, Washington D.C., and Nairobi Kenya to form a truly diverse, global media platform. CGTN Europe is now assembling a world class staff to join a growing media organization. The daily “GLOBAL BUSINESS EUROPE” will join GLOBAL BUSINESS programming produced in Beijing, Nairobi, and Washington. A wide range of additional programming in other genres: talk, feature, culture will be rolled out as the organization expands further in 2019.
