🚨 A new European Environment Agency (EEA) briefing has revealed widespread pollution from the forever chemical PFOS in European waters, with levels often exceeding regulatory threshold levels. 🏥 Exposure to some #PFAS has been linked to serious health conditions, including certain cancers, developmental issues, and immune system disruption. 📊 The briefing is based on monitoring data reported to the EEA’s Waterbase from 27 European countries including Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands.
