The recent HM Inspectorate of Prisons Report into the experiences of children in custody is a glaring indictment of a system that continues to fail the most vulnerable children in society. Hot on the heels of the National Youth Strategy funding announcement last week, the National Youth Agency has launched its workforce survey. The survey is open to anyone working with young people in a youth work role, to provide the NYA with a clear picture of the types of roles people are doing, the qualifications they have and how they are working alongside allied professionals.
