It’s World Kindness Day. Strange, right? That we need a day for kindness? Shouldn’t it just be … normal? Yet here we are. Somehow, “business” became an excuse to separate kindness from how we operate. People snap, bark orders, or act tough – when it’s completely unnecessary. We're all just people trying to get through the day. Here’s a reminder: Be kind. If you wouldn’t talk to your gran like that, don’t talk to a colleague like that. If you wouldn’t snap at a child, don’t snap at a stranger. Want to go further? → Compliment someone. → Cover for a coworker who’s stressed. → Buy coffee for the next person in line. → Thank someone properly – with specifics. → Write a note to someone who’s made your life better. Kindness isn’t weakness. It’s a superpower. Now, go make someone’s day.

But here’s the kicker: if you don't have the right systems in place, crazy deadlines lead to crazier mistakes. Mattel just learned this the hard way. Their latest packaging sent customers not to their product—but to an adult site. Yikes. What probably happened? The checklist didn’t happen. → No one proofed the URL. → No one paused to double-check. → Everyone rushed to print. Result? Brand damage, financial fallout, and an audience they didn’t want. This isn’t rare. I’ve seen it twice in the past month—each time costing millions in cash and untold damage to brand equity. The fix?
