Such an inspiring day meeting the passionate, caring and knowledgeable teams at Citizens Advice Bedford and Job Centre Plus in Bedford. Thank you for hosting us and sharing your work.
We were delighted to host Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) Permanent Secretary Peter Schofield CB at MaPS HQ in Bedford yesterday morning. During his visit, Peter was given updates on MaPS’ work and priorities by CEO Oliver Morley CBE. He then heard updates on the MoneyHelper Pensions Dashboard, the Debt Services Strategy and MaPS’ operations, before finishing with an update on Money Guiders. In the afternoon, Peter visited two of our local partners, Bedford Job Centre Plus and Citizens Advice Bedford, together with the Regional Partnership Manager for the East of England, Alan Nicholls FRSA, and Corporate Director for Debt, Anna Hall.
