Brace for impact: The #CLAAS XERION 12 tractor has landed in South Africa! 🌍🚜   The first XERION 12 has made its way to South Africa, marking another chapter in the global success story of this powerhouse. First customer is a large and highly professional family-owned farm in the Mpumalanga region, managing a spanning 4,000 hectares of maize and soya cultivation.   This acquisition is particularly special due to the farm's deep-rooted connection to CLAAS. The new owners' father, inspired by Helmut Claas during a 2009 encounter, dreamed of owning a XERION. This legacy continues with the bonnet personally signed by Cathrina Claas-Mühlhäuser, adding a personal touch to their story.   The XERION 12 is more than a tractor; it's a testament to #innovation meeting tradition. Already making waves, several more units have been sold, with more to come as the machine is perfectly suited for South Africa's vast fields and demanding agricultural needs.   “This machine fits perfect to the large areas of land and wide, heavy implements used in agriculture there," explains Hendrik Leege, Country Sales Manager South Africa at CLAAS. "Thanks to its full frame, it is more robust, more comfortable and more precise to steer than an articulated tractor, with better power transmission and soil protection than a full crawler tractor. The annual awards recognize top 50 innovations in North America, which drive significant impact on agricultural, food and biological systems. The Green Week in Berlin starts today, and #CLAAS is represented at two stands together with industry partners at the leading international trade #fair for food and #agriculture until 26 January.   At the VDMA Agricultural Technology Innovation Forum, CLAAS is joining forces with eight other agricultural #technology companies. The joint booth under the motto "Tilling the Future - Balancing Economy and Ecology" showcases pioneering solutions for the challenges of today and tomorrow. CLAAS is embedding special emphasis on alternative fuels, and CLAAS connect, among others.   As part of the "Renewable drive energy for agriculture and forestry" platform, CLAAS will showcase the AXION 960 TERRA TRAC, which uses sustainable HVO fuel (hydrotreated vegetable oils) and makes a significant contribution to reducing CO2 emissions.    Both booths are in Hall 3.2.
