📚 In March 2024, we launched a new foundation course: "Climate in the Boardroom". 🔗 https://lnkd.in/geM4eqYD 🎓 This 30-minute introduction to climate change and effective climate governance provides board directors with a comprehensive overview of the pivotal role they play in addressing the business risks and opportunities presented by climate change. 🌳 Since its launch, the freely-available, 30-minute course has been viewed by ~1,800 individuals. The Climate Governance Initiative is a non-profit dedicated to mobilising boards to accelerate the transition to net zero and build climate resilience. We develop and support a global network that empowers and mobilises board directors on every continent to take climate action by enhancing their knowledge and skills in climate governance. We are a rapidly growing global network with Chapters in over 70 countries worldwide, reaching more than 100,000 chairs, non-executive and independent directors. The Climate Governance Initiative is developed in collaboration with the World Economic Forum and our work builds on the World Economic Forum’s Principles for Effective Climate Governance.
