We are delighted to add to our team of Salesforce experts with our newest graduates from the Clyde Ventures Academy. Our most recent intake have graduated as consultants with a difference. They are not only certified in Salesforce but also across a breadth of consultancy tools and industry expertise. Our USP is different from your traditional integrators; we do not flood your teams with consultants. We approach each project collaboratively with the goal of upskilling your internal team to reduce the reliance on 3rd party support longer term, at the same time as delivering value. Please contact our Salesforce MD Graham Mathie to discuss how we can help with anything salesforce related from design workshops, implementations or to support your internal teams. Our clients love our fresh approach to solving today’s problems. #salesforce #collaboration #utilityindustry

Long wait times, substandard complaint handling and convoluted processes have all been cited as contributing factors to year on year declining customer service standards across the U.K. While the experience of the customer should be at the heart of the drive for improving standards in the provision of service, a further motivating factor for organisations to transform customer operations is reducing operating costs and margin erosion. Read on to find out how Clyde Ventures, in an 8 week engagement, leveraged operational excellence principles to reduce opex, maximise sales opportunity and improve customer retention to identify and deliver £1.95m in annualised benefit to our client, the domestic sales function of a FTSE 100 company. If you would like to hear more about our approach, contact Kerry Moran or Amber Morton for an initial chat. #customerexperience #utilities #operationalexcellence

We were a proud sponsors of the UK University Sales Competition that took place at the University of Abertay in Dundee, Scotland, along with our partner Clyde Ventures. Students from eleven universities across Scotland and England were invited along to participate in a speed sell / elevator pitch about themselves, followed by a civic reception with the Lord Provost. The incredible Luke Staton presented, and inspired the students to achieve their full potential and to believe in themselves. Day 2 was focused on a technology Sales role play with a final pitch at the end, before the awards presentation. The students showed adaptability, resilience and it was a brilliant opportunity for them to take on feedback, grow in confidence and gain understanding of the opportunities available to them. A big thank you to Peter Waggott, and Sandy McCurdy from Vertical Motives Consultancy Ltd who made it all happen, and to Paul Bonner, Roddy Alexander , Kim Moran-Hogg, Kate Ifould, Richard Johnson and Rhona Wallace for representing Salesforce over the two days.

Our CEO Paul Richards and Salesforce MD Graham Mathie were delighted to be invited to the inaugural SP Energy Networks Distribution System Operator (DSO) conference to represent Clyde Ventures. Both were enthused by the event, especially around the vision and focus on working collaboratively to deliver real change to our industry. Thanks to everyone involved in pulling together such a well run event.
The energy landscape is undergoing a seismic shift. Emerging technologies, such as smart grids, renewables, and digital solutions, are reshaping the way we generate, distribute, and consume energy. Yesterday, we welcomed a collection of stakeholders and industry experts to our first Distribution System Operator (DSO) conference. To realise the goal of Net Zero, we need to create opportunities for collaboration across the industry, and ensure that the pace of change is delivered by all parties. DSOs play a pivotal role in the evolving energy ecosystem, connecting energy producers and consumers, network operators and system operators to deliver a resilient and reliable network for our customers. In the afternoon, we were joined by a panel of industry experts, and heard from Nathan Macwhinnie of Ofgem, Julian Leslie of National Grid, Alex Schoch of Octopus Energy, Alina Bakhareva of Elexon, Angela Love of our Independent Net Zero Advisory Council, Professor Federico Coffelle of University of Strathclyde and Scott Mathieson of SP Energy Networks - who discussed how we can work together to realise a Just Transition to Net Zero. Our DSO strategy outlines our framework of activities and tools we are delivering to meet customers’ needs, support Net Zero and ensure the continued reliability and stability of the electricity system. Look out for more updates from our Head of DSO development Kirsty Scott. For more information on our up-coming DSO events and webinars please contact our team at stakeholderengagement@spenergynetworks.co.uk ✉️ 👏 Big thanks to all of our attendees and speakers.
